Some network marketing companies have followed aggressive and/or questionable practices. What I like about Young Living is that they uphold the highest ethics and principles. We do not engage in aggressive or questionable practices of any kind. Ever.
The Young Living system was created to serve you. We network to:
?¢‚Ǩ¬¢ inform others of the world standards for quality essential oils (if you noticed other essential oil companies always compare their oils to Young Living’s, that’s because they are standard setters)
?¢‚Ǩ¬¢ educate and inform those who are interested in keeping an ancient healing art strong
?¢‚Ǩ¬¢ provide alternatives to toxic products
Buying from Young Living as a customer is very much like going to Costco or Sam’s Club to get wholesale prices ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù you simply need a membership card to get through the door.
Here’s what Robert Kiyosaki, International best-selling author, said about network marketing…
“When people say that network marketing is a ‘pyramid scheme,’ they don’t understand what they’re talking about. Structurally, all successful businesses are pyramids.
Here’s the difference: major corporations like General Motors, IBM, and Microsoft are not designed to pull you up; they’re only designed to make the top of the pyramid rich. They make the rich richer. . . (but) a successful, solid, honest, network marketing company is a true Information Age corporation.”
Kiyosaki understands that network marketing provides a legitimate and important business system that is assessable to all. Anyone can join Young Living and be a business builder and reach the highest rank, no matter who sponsored them.
I’m by no means defending the model, there are plenty of MLM companies and distributors whose practices I do not agree. For example, I would prefer to sell someone a smaller kit and fewer items than see those products end up in their garage.
Actually, Young Living doesn’t even have any really expensive kits for us to sell, for which I’m glad. We primarily make our commissions through repeat sales. It’s a true relationship business.
