Young Living is a MLM company [if you think it's a pyramid you may want to educate yourself] because they want every customer to have a sponsor who helps them learn about essential oils. Yes, there is a learning curve - this is why there are distributors who sponsor newcomers. This alone should indicate that Young Living essential oils are not anything at all like the “novelty” aromatherapy products sold cheaply in stores and online.
Our oils are for people who are serious about purity and who want essential oils that can perform serious benefits.
Young Living is also a financially stable company - no worries about them disappearing in a year or two! We are passionate about purity and share a common thread - we care strongly about the wellness of ourselves, our families & friends, and the environment.
Having been a small business owner for 30 years with conventional types of businesses, I am loving that Young Living is a MLM company. It took me some effort to completely understand how MLM works. Now that I do understand, there is no way I would ever want a conventional business model again! There’s no way I would ever get a residual income from any of my previous business ventures.
When I think of all the effort I put into my previous businesses and if it had been a Young Living business I would today be extremely well-off.
I’ve been using essential oils for 20 years, Young Living oils for almost 8 years. I’ve had a Young Living business for almost two years… I can see and feel the benefits. I am very excited to know that I can, through my efforts and those of our team-work, can reach my financial goals. Results that will be with me the rest of my life.
Yes, I understand some have gotten burnt by MLM businesses. Just know that there are different kinds of compensation plans - not all of them benefit the distributors. Young Living does have a plan that benefits its distributors. A plan that pays the new and active distributor in their first month!
